Greetings and welcome!
This is the second website of the Seattle-based author Priscilla Long. Its main purpose is to gather and make available many of her published works previously scattered across the country in journals and other venues.
She is a writer of poetry, essays, creative nonfictions, fictions, science, and history. She has an MFA degree from the University of Washington and teaches writing. For upcoming course offerings, talks, and presentations, please see her other website, www.PriscillaLong.com.
Her guide to writing is The Writer’s Portable Mentor: A Guide to Art, Craft, and the Writing Life. Her scholarly history book is Where the Sun Never Shines: A History of America’s Bloody Coal Industry.
